How do I join?

First you will need to complete a membership form, which you can download here.

For any advice on completing the form, or if you would like a form posted to you, please contact us on the general enquiries addresses listed above.

You will then need to send this, together with a cheque payable to the Sealed Knot for the appropriate amount to the regiment's Membership Secretary:

The Sealed Knot membership year runs from September the 30th. 2010 membership fees are as follows:

While it is possible to join in September, please note that the season is almost over by then and there are not usually many events. However, you can still contact us as we're a sociable bunch and often get together around the country over the winter. We attend a regular event at Nantwich each January and the season proper tends to start around Easter time.

 

The SK does not charge you to attend each individual event. The membership fee covers you for as many events as you can come to.

If you feel undecided about joining, you can always sign up as a temporary member to give it a go for one Muster. For this you will need to complete a temporary membership form, downloadable here and send a cheque for £12.00 per person (or £17.00 per family) to Dick Porter as above. If you later decide to join as a full member in the same year, this fee will be deducted from the cost of a full-year membership. You can expect a phone call from a senior member of the regiment on receipt of your application in order to make contact before we meet you at a muster!

 

As it takes time for the paperwork to be processed through the SK, please make sure the application form is with the Membership Secretary at least 3 weeks before an event you wish to attend!
