MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

The Sealed Knot Society offers three membership options

Both Annual and Half-Year memberships allow you to attend as many events as you wish within the period. If you are not yet sure that “Knotting” will be for you, consider signing up as a Temporary member. This allows you to have a go for one weekend. If you later decide to sign up for the remainder of the year, the fee will be deducted from the cost of your first membership.

In all cases, once you sign up, you can have a go at pretty much anything and see things from the inside. However, please note that attendance at some events requires booking in advance.

Fees for Sealed Knot membership to 31 November 2011 are as follows (all include a £6, one off enrolment fee):

  1. Annual Membership (Valid for the full season)
    • Family £52.50
    • Individual Family (one adult plus their children) £37.00
    • Individual £35.00
    • Young Person (16-24) £29.00
  2. Half-Year Membership (Valid only from 1st July)
    • Family £29.25
    • Individual Family £21.50
    • Individual £20.50
    • Young Person (16-24) £17.50

    Please be aware that most events occur between Easter and September, with our largest event usually held on August Bank Holiday each year. If in doubt, contact us anyway. We’re a sociable bunch, often meeting up around the country “out of season” and attending a regular event at Nantwich each January.

Membership Application Forms and Process

Click on the headings below to download the relevant form. You will need to print this out, enter your details and sign it.

All applications should be accompanied by:

  1. A cheque made payable to the “Sealed Knot Society” for the appropriate amount.
  2. A self-addressed envelope with a first class stamp to speed the return of your membership card(s).

All applicants can expect to be contacted by a senior member of the regiment in order to welcome you and ensure you have everything you need to get to your first event.

The Sealed Knot aims to process all applications within days of receipt but this can stretch to several weeks during busy periods. To avoid disappointment, please submit your application as soon as possible. If there is a particular event you wish to attend, then please try to allow at least 3 weeks.
